What is ‘eye on® Kanazawa’?
English-language free newspaper for overseas travellers published by a local design company in Kanazawa.
Since its first issue in 2008, the magazine has introduced locally-sourced 'active tourism information' through the world's lingua franca 'English'. It is composed mainly of feature articles on topics of interest to individual travellers from Europe and the USA, the target market, as well as information for companies and restaurants that wish to actively approach overseas travellers. With a flexible strategy unique to the local design company, the magazine provides information from the 'residents' perspective' that is not included in guidebooks from overseas and has been used at tourist information centers, accommodation facilities, and government agencies.
